The IUBMB–FEBS–PABMB Young Scientists' Forum

Apply now for this pre-Congress meeting in Vimeiro for postdocs and PhD students! Successful applicants are supported by YSF grants.

The IUBMB–FEBS–PABMB Young Scientists' Forum (YSF), a satellite meeting of the IUBMB–FEBS–PABMB Congress, will bring together around 120 talented postdocs and PhD students from across the world who are working in the molecular and cellular biosciences. The gathering is organized ‘by young scientists for young scientists’ and participants will be able to meet up in a friendly international atmosphere for inspiring lectures from keynote speakers, short talks and posters from YSF attendees, presentations and practical exercises supporting scientific career development, and a social programme. YSF participants will then move on to also experience the larger IUBMB–FEBS–PABMB Congress in Lisbon.

IUBMB, FEBS and PABMB will financially support participation of successful YSF applicants in both the YSF and the ensuing Congress, via YSF grants. Full details of the eligibility criteria are on the YSF applications page. Applicants must submit an abstract to the YSF and Congress as first author, and there are also membership requirements for FEBS, PABMB or IUBMB depending on which country you are studying or working in.

YSF applications must be made through the Congress registration system, selecting the YSF Applicant option, by December 15, 2021.
